Our Story
Namibia is a vast, beautiful country — but getting around has always been a challenge. Public transport is limited, taxis can be unreliable, and for many people, finding a safe ride home at night is a real concern.
NamCab was born from a simple idea: what if we could give every Namibian access to a safe, affordable ride at the tap of a button? We set out to build a ride-hailing platform designed specifically for Namibia's roads, cities, and communities.
Starting in Windhoek, we're building a network of verified drivers and happy riders — and we're just getting started.
Why Namibia Needs NamCab
International ride-hailing apps have largely overlooked Namibia. The unique challenges of our roads, distances, and payment preferences require a local solution.
NamCab supports cash and mobile money payments, understands local pricing expectations, and is built with Namibian infrastructure in mind. We're not a global app with a local skin — we're a Namibian app from the ground up.
